For the SIGGRAPH 2025 Fast Forward, I wanted to do something light, but with high polish. Our paper was about estimating uncertainty for material capture, so I quickly made the association with a therapy session. I cast my colleague (to remain anonymous) as the ‘material’, dressed in a metallic suit and presented live in-costume (imagine standing in a morph suit in front of 2000 people, lots of fun).
SIGGRAPH is the principal conference for computer graphics worldwide. In the Fast Forward session, attendees get a quick, often humorous, and high-energy overview of all the works that are presented at the conference.
